The answer to the Wordle on April 2nd is:Serum.
Merriam-Webster defines serumto mean: “the watery, clear portion of an animal fluid” or “a usually lightweight cosmetic preparation especially for use on the face.”

The most important thing you can do to finish a Wordle without running out of guesses is to pick a great starting word.

I typically start with the word raise for those reasons, and that is a choicebacked by some number crunchers. A good second guess depends on how well your first word did. If you got nothing with raise, for example, you should just assume that O and U are the vowels in the word and guess accordingly.
