The Nothing Headphone (1) were created in collaboration with the popular audio brand KEF and features a transparent design that’s both stylish and minimalist at the same time. These headphones sport tactile and easy-to-use controls, immersive sound thanks to custom-tuned 40mm dynamic drivers, a 3.5mm headphone jack, and all the latest formats you’ll want to crank to 11. In fact, the company says they’re perfect for audiophiles, yet great for everyday listeners.

Here’s what Nothing had to say about these wild-looking headphones. “With Headphone (1), we set out to create something that doesn’t just sound great, it feels different the moment you pick it up. From the tactile controls to the transparent construction, every detail is intentional. It’s a product that looks different, works differently, and invites people to connect with sound in a more expressive way,” said Adam Bates, Head of Design at Nothing.

The unique design immediately captures your attention with formed aluminum, PU memory foam, and physical buttons. The company purposefully chose tactile buttons over touch controls, and that’s something I’m sure many of you will appreciate.

On the inside, these headphones are pretty impressive, too. Nothing says they use custom-built 40 mm dynamic drivers that deliver rich, natural audio with booming bass, detailed mids, and crisp highs that music lovers have come to expect from premium headphones. Better yet, Nothing claims this happens across all audio modes, including while using ANC, Transparency mode, and Spatial Audio.

As for specs, the Nothing Headphone (1) packs a large 1,040 mAh battery that the company says is good for up to 80 hours of playback, or 35 hours with ANC enabled. That translates to about 53 hours of talk time. Thanks to USB-C, the headphones can quickly recharge in 120 minutes, and fast charging will get you 5 hours of music playback after only 5 minutes on a charger. And all of that is in a stylish headphone that weighs only 329g, meaning they’ll be comfortable enough for extended listening.

The headphones support Hi-Res Audio, LDAC, USB-C lossless playback, Bluetooth 5.3, dual-device connections, and six microphones for crystal-clear phone calls, active noise cancellation, and more. They also have a low-latency/lag mode for gamers, on-head detection to instantly pause or play music, an LED charging status indicator, and an IP52 rating.
