What Is Karma: The Dark World About?
Karma: The Dark Worldoriginally dropped on March 27 for PC,PlayStation 5, andXbox Series X/S. It’s a first-person psychological horror game set in 1984’s East Germany. That choice of setting must be deliberate as the themes ofKarmabear a striking resemblance to George Orwell’s1984.
“The Leviathan Corporation rules with an iron fist, controlling its citizens through mass surveillance, social class rules, mind altering drugs and the promise that the gates to Utopia will open to those who serve,” reads the official description onSteam.
You play as an agent for Leviathan’s Thought Bureau and will investigate the minds of suspected criminals in a very surreal and cinematic story all while trying to keep sane.Karmapromises twists and a world where there’s more than meets the eye.
“What starts out as another case for Roam Agent Daniel McGovern, sees him discover a world of deceit and betrayal, where everything you know starts to be questioned, including your own identity,” reads the official press release.
