Like last year, Verizon will give you the NFL Sunday Ticket for free, making it easy to watch endless NFL football this season. But as usual, there are strings attached. If you want to buy a new smartphone or switch to Verizon Wireless, you’ll be eligible for this deal and can save $480.
Football is back! While it’s only preseason right now, things will start to get serious in early September. And if you want to stream the entire 2025-26 NFL season on YouTube,Verizon has you covered. Luckily, this isn’t some wild promotion that requires you to jump through a bunch of hoops. It’s actually pretty easy, and is something you’re likely to do anyway—buy a new phone.
Eligible for both new and existing customers, Verizon Wireless brought back thesame promotion it had last year, and here’s how it works. Any new or existing customers who buy a new 5G phone, upgrade to a Verizon Wireless myPlans, or switch to Verizon’s MyHome Internet can redeem the $480 promotion and get the NFL Sunday Ticket (via YouTube) for free. And if you don’t want to do any of that, you can still get a discount.
For those unaware, the Sunday Ticket was an option on DirecTV for almost 30 years, but now, it’s distributed byYouTube and YouTube TV. You can stream games from TVs, phones, laptops, and tablets. More importantly, you can watch up tofour games simultaneously with Multiview, my favorite feature.
This season, the NFL partnered with several different streaming services, which will make watching football games pretty difficult. Some games are on the usual channels, while others are on Netflix, Amazon Prime Video, Peacock, EPSN+, etc. It’s a bit messy, but if you want to make things easy on yourself, just get the NFL Sunday Ticket.
The NFL Sunday Ticket is $480 for the entire season, or it’s completely free if you take advantage of Verizon’s promotion. Once you buy a new phone, switch plans, or try Verizon Home internet, you’re all set.
To redeem this benefit, have a Verizon rep in a retail store help you out, or you can do it from your couch with the My Verizon app. All you need to do is sign into your Verizon account, navigate to theNFL Sunday Ticket landing page, and hit Get Started. You have 60 days to redeem the promotion, and then you’ll get endless access to NFL games on YouTube. Just make sure you read the fine print and get the right phone/internet plan to qualify.
Verizon’s offer ends on September 23rd, 2025, so you’d better act fast. And hey, with the new iPhone 17 coming out this September, that would be a good time to buy a new phone, change plans, and get the Sunday Ticket for free.
